Your Web Source: Small Business Blog of the Day
by Brian Brown (follow me on Twitter): March 31, 2006Today's site comes from a Technorati blog search for 'invitations.' Mom, if you're reading this, don't get excited, there is no specific reason I was searching for this other than looking for someone to feature today.
Several wedding planning sites came up, but as they didn't seem to fit my new guidelines, I ended up at the bottom of the search list at a blog called Your Web Source. What the title of the blog has to do with wedding invitations, I have no idea, but that's what the blog is about.
What it is
A blog about wedding invitations serving as a gateway to the Sandstone Invitations website owned by Kim Lapp and her sister Jane in Watertown, Wisconsin.
Features
Everything you need to know about invitations until your head explodes. Preview dozens of invitations (hundreds? thousands? millions?) and read about all kinds of handy advice specifically about wedding invitations.
Favorite Post
What I like about this blog is the focus. This doesn't try to be a wedding planner blog, it's really focused just on invitations. One post advises you to be sneaky which I think is clever:
Discreetly assign a number to each guest and their RSVP card to track down missing RSVP cards and create seating charts.
See? Sneaky...but useful.
